The RED exhibition was held in the foyer of the Adelaide Festival Centre, 2016

The RED competition was an initiative of Sight For All and Atkins Pro Lab. It was a one day competition where, on a designated day, photographers could take colour images that adhered to the red theme, the images would then be supplied to Atkins by a specific time ready for judging. All images were blind judged by photographer Narelle Autio, Artistic Director of Artistic Programs at the Art Gallery of South Australia Lisa Slade and gallery owner Hugo Michell. Of the hundreds of images submitted from around the world, 32 were selected as finalists and were printed ready for exhibition. I submitted three images and all three made the final list. My image 5th floor went on to win the overall prize of $5000.
