Portraits 4x5
Recently I've been loading up my Speed Graphic 4x5 camera with expired film, on the front of the camera I mount a 1940s Kodak Aero Ektar aerial photography lens, f2.5, 178mm, loved by me for its potential to produce images with an extremely shallow Depth of Field. I invite friends to sit in front of this camera in natural light, it's a process where I don't think they realise that they will be committing quite a bit of time and energy to our collaborative adventure. But it's the expenditure of time that makes it all work. A work in progress.
